Docks are a natural extension to our deck business. Although the subframing is much more substantial, the end look is the same - hidden fasteners on the decking and quality workmanship throughout. Given the fact that pressure treated wood is prohibited for use in contact with water, that leaves only two options. Untreated lumber is not a good idea unless you are keen on replacing your dock every 5 to 10 years. Therefore, we only offer docks made with Western Red Cedar. This naturally preserved wood can be counted on for 20-30 years.
